WASHINGTON — D.C. Lottery officials say a $1 million Powerball ticket was sold at a northwest liquor store.
The ticket for Wednesday’s Powerball drawing was purchased at Sheffield Wine and Liquor on Connecticut Avenue.
The winning numbers were 17-27-37-40-53; and the Powerball number was 35. The holder of the $1 million ticket matched the winning numbers, but not the Powerball number.
The ticketholder has 180 days from the close of the game to redeem the $1 million ticket.
